Chile Frito Mexican Restaurant

When it comes to Mexican cuisine, there's no better place in town than this cozy little restaurant that serves up delicious torta Cubana, quesadillas, carnitas and most of all margaritas.

We were looking for a great Mexican restaurant tonight after a day at the beach. Google sent us 20 minutes away and we are so glad!! The 3 salsa choices with our chips were amazing! The guacamole was so fresh and delicious too! My husband had the chicken fajitas and I had the kit #1 (three tacos) I had carne asada, chicken and al pastor. They were all delicious!! Definitely check this place out!

Omg we just moved down here to from ct and was looking for some good Mexican omg well we found it it was soooo good they give you 3 different sauces and queso with chips the waitress and bartender were amazing sooo friendly the food was hot and delicious and fresh I highly recommend checking them out

Okay, let's talk food !!! Fam if you like a bit of Mexico in South Carolina, then this is a spot you must check out. So, the place is quaint and has personality. When we walked in, the hostesses immediately met us spoke and quickly got us seated. The servers were extremely nice and professional. Also, they were extremely knowledgeable concerning the menu. The food was really good and it came out of the kitchen quickly. So it was a good experience had by all.

Got the quesadilla, not really a quesadilla but two tacos loaded with chicken and cheese, came with a whole plate to go of beans and rice, chips and salsa, and obviously the tacos. Came with lettuce and cilantro tomato's. Food was very good and quality. Good price as well. Would try again.

Everything tasted great here. Started with Chips, salsa, and guac. They provide 3 different types of salsa which were all great. Guac was creamy and flavorful. For entrees I had Chorri Pollo and my best friend had steak chimichanga. Chorri Pollo hit all the notes that I look for in the dish. Chimichanag was incredible. The sauce was smooth and filled with flavor.

If it hadn’t of been for the light blue pick up truck in my community that had jalapenos all over it and the name Chile Frito my wife and I would have never known this excellent Mexican restaurant existed. At first we didn’t know what it was advertising then we decided to look it up after seeing the truck parked next to our car. It turns out it is a Mexican restaurant so we decided we were going to try it out the next day for dinner. Chile Frito is in a small shopping center it’s not a very big restaurant. We went in and were greeted by the owner, he was very nice. I mentioned to him that we had seen the blue with jalapenos all over and looked up the name to see what it was. Excellent advertising. I had 3 taco beef chicken and a pork with rice and beans wife had a chicken meal with caso cheese and r and b. My favorite taco was the pork it had a little pineapple in it it was excellent very tasty and moist the beef and chicken were good but that pork was amazing I would surely order again. Wife’s meal she said was good also. Oh this is good food. Ask for extra tortillas for your taco or ask for flour tortillas.
